It is the scout’s responsibility to make sure they document their progress and obtain the required sign-offs in their Scout Manual and on Merit Badge Blue Cards. It is also the scout’s responsibility to keep the Advancement Chair apprised of their progress. A scout should not assume that because an adult leader gave them a sign-off that the Advancement Chair knows it happened.
These Advancement Reports are intended to help the scouts, parents, and adult leaders keep track of scout progress in rank advancement.
These reports reflect the information the Advancement Chair has for each scout. If these reports are missing information, the scout should show the Advancement Chair his Scout Manual or Blue Cards so that the Advancement Chair can update the records.
- Advancement Status – list by scout showing current rank and requirements that need to be completed to earn the next rank.
- Merit Badges Completed – list by scout showing all the merit badges they have completed
- Merit Badges Started – list by scout showing all the merit badges that have been started and the requirements that need to be completed to earn the badge
Use the ‘Previous’ and ‘Next’ buttons at the bottom of the report panel to scroll through the reports.
