-          Jim to send out email about time and when cooks and servers should show up

·         Committee discussed this year’s Friends of Scouting (FOS) campaign.

o    We decided the goals set by the council are unrealistic given our current enrollment and the current economic climate. The council has our enrollment set at 39, but:

-           we had 5 scouts turn 18

-          one moved away

-          2 transferred to another unit

-          6-8 have not re-registered for this year.

o    The benefits of meeting the FOS goals are:

-          Money is raised for the Longs Peak Council to fund their operations

-          Any of our scouts that want to go to summer camp get a reduced rate at an in-council camp.

-          Merit and rank badges are free for the next year.

o    We will inform the troop parents about the FOS campaign and our current situation, but also offer the alternative to just give to the troop directly since we don’t think we can meet the goals.

·         Committee discussed the annual KOC Garage Sale

o     We need to find out this year’s dates

o    Kathy O. has volunteered to coordinate this year’s sale
